　　当年沃尔特特迪斯尼错过与新婚妻子的晚餐约会，为了道歉就将一只可爱的小狗装入帽盒送给妻子，这份巧思让公司同仁津津乐道，于是特地将此段加入剧情中。另外为了以片中淑女狗 Lady的观点来看世界，迪斯尼特地为动画家们订了一个缩小的模型屋来揣摩。这部温馨感人的爱情冒险剧是迪斯尼第一部宽银幕卡通片，其中吃意大利面条接吻那场戏是最经典的。
